Bike to Work Le Tour style

I thought I was the only one who had this repetitive daydream every time I sit on my bike. This is an extremely entertaining video that highlights one cyclists bike to work route and his overall passion for Le Tour. The voices of Paul Sherwin and Phil Liggit are well paired with the route, this probably took a good effort to create. Certainly a passion burns within the protagonist as he justifiably dons the ‘maillot jaune’ [read: yellow jersey] and survives the chase of the peloton. I ride against the best racers each day in my own daydream version of Le Tour.

Today I bested Armstrong, yesterday Fignon, last week I out sprinted Bernard Hinault, the badger, to take my first stage win. Pantani, Indurain, Ciapucci, Eddy, they have all fallen by the wayside as I intermingle their victories into my own swollen day dreams…I imagine you are guilty too. Perhaps we should be watching the road more. When a car beeps at me it is a team car of an adversary, the people who I pass are cheering me on…oh how I love a good bike commute. My parents called it ‘delusions of grandeur’.
